Welcome to “Wicked Wednesday,” where Wicked Sports highlights a softball player swinging our bats. This week, we are excited to highlight Jon Kronstedt, who shared his experience and feedback after swinging the bat.

“I first picked up a bat at 16 and have been playing in various forms ever since. Currently, I compete in the 50 Major Plus division, and I’ve even spent some time in the 40 Major Plus category.

“Recently, I had the chance to try out a Wicked bat, and I have to say, I was blown away. It took a bit to break in, but once it did, the performance was phenomenal.

“During batting practice, the sound off the bat was like a shotgun blast, and the ball just exploded off it. The very first ball I hit felt perfect, with a knuckle that I haven’t seen from many bats I’ve swung before. Now, we all know home runs are common in senior ball, but I was looking for something beyond just power. I wanted to see how well I could control the ball off the bat.

“In my games, I was able to place the ball exactly where I wanted and still generate solid velocity behind it. If you’re a fan of one-piece bats, this is definitely the one for you. I’m already looking forward to the release of a two-piece model!”
